Lordaeron has been a great success, by far one of the most stable and complete realms ever to exist, but there is one issue eating away at it's potential, queue times. The queues for this realm are ridiculous, any day where I don't specifically wake up early just to log in before peak times, I'll be guaranteed a 3 hour wait through a 1200+ queue. First off, no realm should ever have a queue longer than maybe 5 minutes, because it kills the game, something you will easily see if you happen to wait 3 hours to get in, and then find there's not even any dungeon groups you want to join (pre-80), how is that possible? Because these queue times are encouraging more and more people to stay logged in all day even while they're not playing, so should they get the urge to play wow for a little bit they'll have the choice without having to get through the queue. And even if the person just intended to wait out the 3 hour queue, a lot of stuff could happen in that 3 hours, and they could end up unintentionally sitting at char select afk for hours just because they forgot or had to do something else, a pretty likely scenario. Both of those previous scenarios have happened to me personally, so what do we do about it? What I'm suggesting, and I invite others to suggest as well, is something that would be very simple, keeping the realm basically the same as it is with as little change as possible, but while also eliminating this buildup which is causing outrageous queue times.

There must be a character selection timer and booter
Ok, i'm already going against my rule of keeping things simple because now that I write this out, it seems much more complicated than what I originally imagined. This would be a huge beneficial move for the realm, if not the most beneficial one seeing as, how it currently stands, you can AFK for days at char select and never get booted, even those who get booted from AFKing in-game are put in the char select where they will sit taking space in the queues while contributing nothing to the game, rendering in-game afk boots useless. This is my number one suggestion, if it can be done. If there happens to be a timer on char select already , reduce it to maybe 10 minutes. This way you get 10 minutes to log back in from afk or if you miss that 10 minutes you still have 10 more minutes to log back in before being forced to wait in queues, bringing me to the next suggestion.

Have a captcha system so bots cant be used to log in
I'm not sure if botting is recognizable before entering the game i.e. at the login/realm list. But I'm sure there are many log in bots being used on this realm, making sure their user is always logged in, thus never having to wait for queues to play. Obviously this should be banned, and would be if it's detectable. One thing that could be done is to lock suspected accounts temporarily but they can then go to the website and type in a captcha to unlock their account and log back in (rendering their login bot useless) which should clear up a lot of the dead population .

That is all I will write for now, please feel free to post your suggestions or refined versions of my own here and hopefully Warmane will get on this and fix the biggest issue with their most populated realm soon.
