WotLK Is RDF working on Deathwing? Or are population #'s fake?

So yesterday I reached 80 on Deathwing. Later I queued for RDF. An hour later, still in queue. No a single person in queue with me.

So what is going on with Deathwing? People tell me RDF is working, but I have never ever ever gotten in a dungeon with it. After being in queue for an HOUR I have a hard time believing that not a single other person on the entire server is queuing up for a random WOTLK dungeon. Supposedly 3600 people on the server, 1/2 of that for my faction. So out of potentially 1800 people on the server on my faction, probably 75% of those are level 80.... still no one.

Is RDF working? If so, what is the explanation for such terrible queue times? It makes me question the advertised population numbers.

RDF is working. Are you trying to queue for normal or heroic dungeons? Heroic should be active enough but normal dungeons don't give anything useful for most of the players that got level 80 chars so it's much harder to find a group for that.

Queue works but 90% of players joins RDF from global (HC Mode) and it take long, normal mode is dead because ppl prefer leveling to 80 and join bgs to gear up, kek.

queing rdf as a dps is slow as **** in general, but it's made even longer by the fact that most tank/healers are recruited through global spam.

Yeah, sometimes I'm asking myself the same thing about the realm's real population when having to wait 30mins+ for a RDF/BG/Arena. For RDF, the only chance is to create a 5men party and join as a group, since solo join is almost hopeless. As for the BGs/Arenas...I'd rather not comment.

Have you tried queuing with a healer and a tank? Obviously the queue will be terribly slow if the majority of you are queuing as DPS.
