Hello, I was with raid instance Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, i receive +- at 16:50 -> 4:50pm (cet) [Barb of the Sand Reaver] + [Barbed Choker] from Fankriss the Unyielding, and after server drops. Please can u check DB and give me that items back? Please. Thanks you very much. (i have ticket ingame too)

lost items are never restored, unless they were purchased with coins.

Get in the habit of relogging after you acquire something you like, as it forces the server to save your information to the DB, so if a rollback occurs shortly after, you will be safe.

Somewhat unreasonable for a person to do this after every big item/gold gain.
Really you just have to deal with it, just like in real life, **** happens and the universe (or in this case Warmane, who are busy with a lot of more important things) is indifferent to what happens to you. Yeah it sucks, but it is a lot of work to expect to get things restored after every crash.
