WotLK Massive connection and lag issues

Hi

Is there a current issue with Lordaeron? In game I was having massive lag spikes & 1400ms ping, so I logged out and now am unable to connect. I keep getting booted out of the server.

Before I disconnected a few people in my guild were also complaining of lag.
