Dalaran Arena and Ring Of valour

So when are we going to get these two Arena's opened again? Especially Ring of Valour as it's a unique type of Arena that let's the better players have more choice of what to do with the map to out play their opponents. Also it will allow us to work for Arena Master.

apparently dalaran arena was "broken" which was why they disabled it, i also know it was the least favorite to many arena players but it was one of my favorite maps so id like to see it be reopened

The worst Arena will be always Ruins of Lordaeron if they don't fix the pillars. It doesn't work properly making it impossible to LoS.
I actually used to dislike Dalaran Arena because of the water but you know what? I want to play in it so bad >_<

Yeah I heard that the reason it got removed was due to LoS issues. What was up with the waterfall? It did what it was meant to, act as a pillar to LoS and kncok people off if they got too close. Well let's hope the LoS issues get fixed and yes same for Ruins.

But what about RoV? It can't be that hard to script, so many other Cata servers have it released, granted only one actually has the pillar's working (I'm guessing it's tied to the same mechanic as Nefarian as they are they are the only one to have that working). If they can do it, it would be easy as hell for Warmane dev's.

No I don't Arena...that's why Im asking for arena's to be released so I can get more arena achievements as I have all of them par the ones that can't be gotten...>.>

So u are telling me that u already have 2.2k in 3s and 5s?? Sure.
There is only one achievement linked to the missing arenas and that is 'World Wide Winner' and u are saying that u 'have all of them par the ones that can't be gotten'.(also, last time i checked Last Man Standing was bugged, not sure now)
Maybe u mean u have the ones that u can get in a dead arena realm??
If so, enabling these 2 arenas will not suddenly make the arena ladder active to the point that it is possible to reach 2.2 in 3s and 5s.

This thread is not useless rofl, those Arena's sole purpose isn't about an achievement. They're there to be played in for rating. Some comps can counter comps they should never beat on those maps if played right. I don't see anything negative about those Arena's being added.

Well i was talking just about the achievements and how adding these 2 arenas wont get u to Arena Master and yes, arenas' sole purpose isnt about achievement but also to be played for rating. BUT we can all agree that arenas are dead here therefor adding these 2 arenas so that high rated arenas become more challenging and so that comps have better chances vs other comps and such is neglectable cuz no one plays arenas that seriously here even if they wanted to.(besides, arenas here is all about zerging with 416 gear while smashing ur head against the keyboard with the very least brainpower that u got left.P2W).

So now, the only reason left to add these arenas is just to have fun and a change but seriously who would give a f**k about it for just that reason and starting a thread about it will change sht.

And if u are so conserned about pvp u shud maybe care more about fixing classes and spells.

I'm just tiered of these r*tarded bg hero scrubs(not essentially u Gutray, i dont even know u ingame but u might be one too idk) who come to the forums talking about arenas trying to convinse us that they arent as braindead as they are.(im no arena god either, but i dont pretend to be one at least, im as braindead as it could be)

PS: did u 'subwars' all the way up to 2.2 in 5s or what? I'm just curious.

Most of you PvE kids probably don't know this but we used to have Sewers in the que years ago....However, it was severely bugged so instead of fixing it, they just removed cuz r1 logic.

Main point of adding them was actually in your post. For fun, Ring of Valour was my favourite arena, I actually log another server occasionally just to queue into it. I can bet it is the most favourite for others too. Same for Dalaran. Not having those two Arena's is like not having a relevant raid or dungeon open for the PvE'rs. Well actually it's like with the whole Nefarian not being scripted which means players can't enter HC BwD and yet people I've seen actually back them up and say it needs to be scripted and was even voted as one of the most important bugs back when a mod (think it was Sapphire/Mercy) made a thread for the top 5 bugs for each expansion. What's the difference between them? All you get from BwD HC now is mogs and achieves. I got the achieve from a mix of subwarrs and queuing into friends for it. People may call it wintrading but we knew we can't get titles from 5's and disbanded team when we actually got the achieve, so yea we didn't care :P

How can you brag about this arena so much? It was removed on retail for a reason...I can think about only 2 reasons why would anybody want Ring of Valour. First you are BG hero, second (this point is based from first one) you are unexperienced player so you don't know how to profit from pillars, simple as that.

Also saying that you need it for achievement, I mean really dawg? This server is dying and you are collecting achievements? xD

I've been trying to explain this to other people and it looks like they're unable to understand it. There is nothing wrong about using pillars, if we're able to use them to our favour why shouldn't we use it? Its called "playing wisely". Maybe the ones who are always complaining about it should get better and practice how to play agaisnt someone who uses LoS.

Erm what? Bragging how? I ENJOY that Arena, please tell me what is bragging about that? Yes it was removed for many reasons, some I don't agree with but w/e wasn't my choice obviously. But if I recall correctly, it was removed in MoP...not cata so that point is invalid. If I'm a bg hero...why am I asking for an Arena, surely if be asking for **** like IoC or w/e it's called. Frankly I couldn't give a **** about them Bg's or even the currently scripted ones, though if someone made a post asking for them id agree just for the same reasons I think these arenas should be in the game. Erm I'm bad at profiting from pillars? Yet I'm asking for them to add in an arena with 4 pillars and an arena with two boxes, 4ledges and a ****ing waterfall that acts as pillars. Please Suw, unless you bring IQ to this thread, don't come into it at all.
