Hi guys i run a little test to see is it better to run items with haste over arp ones. All the test are for 2mins with equal gear the only change is 12x20 haste gems, 12x20 parry gems and 12x20 strength gems.
Test is manly to see if changing your back, wrist, ring, hands, belt or adding 12str/10 haste gems it is a good choice.
I`m using only HS spam since haste make this two to hit faster.
What test results shows:
1. If we got haste items [with around 240 haste]you will expect between 3 to 5 HS and AA hits more, and 8 - 15 hits with Deep wounds less. That is on perfect fight where you will not have any disconnect. This data is from 2min fight we can say that we will hit 1-2 HS and AA more per 1min and 4 - 7 Deep wounds less.
2. Having items with haste sacrifice our ARP which means we will have to use more 20 arp gems to fill that gap, using more 20 arp gems will lead to using less 20 strength,12 strength/10 crit gems.
3. Having haste items with 240 haste(that is around how much more haste we will have if we go for haste items) will lead YES to more HS and AA 1-2 per one minute, but that will lead as to do Less dmg on every spell we are using because, we will have lesser AP/crit. That means BT, WW, SLAM, HS, AA, Bleeds and all other spells we are using to dps scaling with Attack power will do lesser average damage. Because we exchange haste for strength/crit and doing that leads to lower AP/crit r.
wai do u even tested such a useless stat as haste. it was always like this for the whole wotlk duration. useless until full BIS ( and i strongly believe its useless even at this lvl)

I do think the same but there is a lot post about how effective haste is on bis thats why i did it.
Checking the value of stats with a dps test on the dummy gives u inaccurate results because u are not fully raid buffed.
The more ap/crit/arp u have the more beneficial haste becomes and vice versa.
I would use RAWR to test such things. U can see a statistic in RAWR that shows u the value of different stats in ur current gear.

Haste never comes even close to str. It might surpass crit though.
it should surpass crit after its caped, but here we just dont have crit cap
I believe its fixed on ptr, where he tried it. Crit cap is not that big of a deal for Fury, since it affects only OH autos (yes, its plays some role, just pretty small). Its more about balance of ap, crit, haste.
