use GTX 670 and quite often where there is mobs and when someone is doing aoe spell at the same time my fps drops to around 30, should it be like that with my graphic card?
This is my specs:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670
Memory 8.0 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 10586), 64-bit
Because WotLK - old, single thread usage, not optimised. Basically you can have NASA pc and you'll still get fps drops cuz the game isn't using even 30% of your pc because it's unable to do so.
MoP etc don't have those kinds of problems
I got a Nvidia 860m and I had around 20 fps with it, and it happened at the same time as I uppdated the card's drivers, (I had around 80 before) so I tried do go to nvidias homepage and downloaded an older uppdate and it swapped my fps to 130.
Like Evangelion said, This is an old game and new driver uppdates may screw that up to optimise newer games, atleast thats the only cunclussion I got to it.
Another thing you can do it open the CTRL- ALT - Delete, task manager, go to WoW right click and set priorities to "realtime" or "high" and then open WoW as administrator, This also gives you a nice FPS boost.
In my case it even lowered my latency by 10 (had 64, now 54)
There's alot of guides aswell how to raise max fps in WoW.
Hope you solve the problem.
ye my fps got down alot since i downloaded the new drivers, that must be why, i use geforce so i can just go on their website and download older version?
