Technical [Wotlk] New account - Unable to log in

Hello !

I am new here, I wanted to play the game where I let it after a break of many years, so I downloaded the WotLK (old) client from the warmane site.
Unfortunately it seems I am unable to connect to warmane from my client...



I looked at the connection logs and I get this status :



I checked my realmlist.wtf file, it is ok, but it seems I am unable to reach the logon server :



Did someone encounter the same problem ? Did I do something wrong ?

Flush your DNS.and if that does not work,restart router.The login works perfectly but old cache in DNS might cause some problems i guess.
Sometimes client can bug too,try to restart wow client.

I flushed my DNS, restarted my router and my client, but unfortunately I still have the same problem...

be sure your realmlist is: set realmlist logon.warmane.com
not logon.warmane.ru

Ok problem fixed.

If someone encounters the same problem, it was my config.wtf file which was wrong. Check you have also the line 'SET realmList "logon.warmane.com"' in this file. The config file downloaded from the site is correct, but for some reason, it disappeared when I tried to launch the game the first time. Maybe Peregrine was right : something was wrong in my DNS and when the client failed to connect to the server it removed the line from the config file...
