WotLK Windows 10 SOTA freezes

Hi all,

i have a problem with my notebook (ASUS n56jr- I7 7400hq, Nvidia gtx760m). I upgraded to windows 10, all drivers are up to date. Wow runs smooth, the only problem is SOTA. every other bg works, but sota no. When bg loads, everything is fine, but when the bg "starts" and the timer starts to run, the game freezes. fps falls to 2 in 30 secs :) My character moves one cm in 30-40 seconds. I can alt tab, the computer isn´t freeazed, but the game stops responding. Tried compatibility modes, clearing cache, turning off ad-dons., setting video effects to low..nothing helped. i don´t understand how this problem occurs just in SOTA??

I've been experiencing the same problem with a similar notebook (Asus ROG G750JH, NVIDIA GTX 780M). I hope someone will come up with a response.

Edit: i tried without windowed mode, and it work'd fine.

Most likely a driver issue, neither of the windows 10 desktops I have access to seem to be having problems. However, they're both on AMD GPUs so I'm unable to test different driver versions.
