WotLK About population

Hello everybody,

Few years after Molten "collapsed", I decided to come back. I am very interested in doing raids so a realm with the highest population is what I am looking for.

In information page seems the highest amount of players are in Lordaeron, but initial zones there are a bit... desertic, comparing at least with Ragnaros. It was long ago but if I am right before I left, Lordaeron was not specially popular... So before going further I would like to ask: is it right that there is around 9k players in Lordaeron while there is only about 2-3k in Ragnaros? If so, and keeping in mind the above, is it supposed easier to find raid group in Lordaeron?

I am gonna give you some additional info:
Lordaeron is x1, and it is "progressive realm", this means right now on Lordaeron ICC and Ulduar are not open yet. Also, for Staff decision, RDF is disabled

Ragnaros is x7 and all contenten is already available, RDF works fine
Also, Ragnaros and Deathwing are gonna be merged into 1 Realm soon ( i guess between 30-60 days) so its population is gonna be closer to the Lordaeron Realm
