Hey,
Just rolled a toon a few days back on Lordaeron with some friends to relive the WoTLK days. So far been very impressed with the server and having a blast! Almost enjoying it too much and getting no work done lol...
The only issue I've had is once or twice a day the server seems to lag out and then I get disconnected for anywhere from 20min - 1hr.
Just wondering if this is a common issue or if it's something likely to be sorted out in the near future? Not looking to complain as like I said the server has been beautiful otherwise, just looking for more info on this.

for the past few days it's been very common.
just been passing the time on my priest on rag in bgs (alliance) while i wait..

At the start it was common. Then it didn't happen for like a few months and now a week ago or something it started again.

Server crashes do not happen very very often, and if they do they usually get fixed pretty fast.
The disconnection times you mention are pretty high, probably the server gets up in the time but instantly crashes again.
A crash can happen by anyone doing anything that triggers a piece of code with a flaw. What do you do when you had a server crash?
I can tell you what I do: the exact same thing as just right before the crash. With me many others, thus probably also the person who crashed the server (by accident).

There is an active Anti-DDoS system to avoid attacks so it may require trying to login more than once.

I get to character screen loading and instantly get dc'd again has happened 12 times now
