The current state of Pve after Ulduar Launch

    Hi,
I would like to discuss the current state of pve after ulduar launch on lordaeron. Currently it has become an issue with most of the top raiding guilds to ninja steal raid ids.Since i am aware that personal name calling is not allowed on the forums so i am going to keep everything anonymous.I am currently an officer in a guild that raids only on weekends and has people can commit no more than 2-3 days in a week.It takes us 3 days to clear till sapph normally so this week we stopped @ sapph because people had to go and decided to continuee the next day.Few hours later one of the elitist guild has stolen our id and are killing sapph/kt.I started to inquire more into id stealing and noticed that its a common practice in alot of elitist raiding guilds to steal ids and progress on it.

One argument you can possibly make is that "if you raid you raid with the whole guild. If you invite pugs this will happen"We had 20 people from the guild in that raid. The problem i am trying to surface here is that there are alot bad practices happening @lord lately and it feels hopeless and helpless for mid-tier raiding guilds to progress well in content because we cannot really have a full 25m of our own and since id stealing is not punishable in any way, there is nothing being done to those who do it.I am not looking to blame xyz guild for stealing my naxx25 raid id multiple times but instead looking for a solution to this problem as it is inevitable you will invite a few pugs during your run and there is no chance you can know if the person is legit or not.
Would appreciate if admins read it
    Feedback is appreciated

There is literally nothing that you can do about it , people have been doing this for years on this server .

maybe implement a feature where you have to have more than 25%+ of the original raid comp to enter the raid id?

    Well, two sides of view:

1- From the thief's perspective, it's like : " I was in this raid, I want to finish it, yet I know I won't with thoses noobs ( I'm being mean on purpose, don't take it bad x) ). Because I was there, the id is also mine, and I'm free to use it however I want." Of course he COULD feel bad about doing this, but there is no such thing as compassion here :D

2- From your perspective: " 80% of the raid is my guild, thoses pug helped us, but it is our right to finish it, and not their to use it". It's pretty much the legit one, and while I agree with you ( obviously. . .), think about this:
Because 80% of your raid was guildmates, the pugs has no idea if he will be taken for the next run meaning to finish the raid. He just does not know, and he has every right to take your id, as well as you have every right not to take him for the 2nd/third run. What I mean is that he doesn't have a clear spot on the raid, yet do want to clean the id. He's also selfish obviously, but you've got to take every possibility in account.

I don't know if your answer if the right one verminslayer ^^', sometimes you just can't because of disponibility. Then again, I don't have an answer myself.

    Sorry if bad english.

This has been common practice since TBC. We would buy illidan saves in V A N Q U I S H all the time.

It's completely blizzlike and your fault for pugging. Although, you'd deal with people selling the saves regardless.
