With all Blizzard-Vanilla drama, people recognized that there are some fancy private servers around. This attention brought huge player numbers than ever happened before. I don't know why did i submit this thread but I'm just happy. Nothing else.

Well private servers atm are more fun than WoD anyways D:D

I don't know about that, you can still do older content on retail. I mean just cause it's not current doesn't mean it isn't fun.

I got 20 people to do SOO Mythic last week. It was really fun even if we killed things far too quickly. (and *****s died on Malkorok and me and dj has to two man it).

That's about the extent of it, though. I can solo everything clear up to Terrace of Endless Spring on 10-man normal. I could probably go further if I was a Blood DK and not a Ret. If I want to do any other sort of old group content, I either have to wait for Timewalking, or I'm SOL.

Point is, playing here broadens the fun that there is to be had (which is why I play here AND on retail), and in turn, helps to cure boredom.

Yes you can, but you oneshot everything with auto attack, because attacking creatures lower level than you multiplies your damage.

Why play Wrath of the Lich King private server when you can stop exp gain at lvl 80 and do wrath content on retail? And no it doesn't. That is like saying playing mario bros on the n64 isn't fun compared to super mario maker. That is your opinion.

Not if you choose to do it at lvl 80. I mean it is "almost" like playing Wrath of the Lich King. Keyword almost.

And no, I'm not telling anyone to go to retail, if you don't it's your choice.

Oh lol, this guy again. If he's so happy with retail, i'm not even sure why he's here. I'm not going to try and explain anything to him as I've learned that his just love to argue with the wall and adds nothing constructive or new to the table.

If we could have that "Legacy feeling" that Warmane and other Private Servers offer us, we wouldn't be here having this conversation. Personally I'm so fed up with Blizzard these days I don't care to pay them another dime towards WoW. About the only thing I do enjoy from Blizzard these days and trust me, i spend as little as possible these days, is Hearthstone.

Not a fan at all of Hots and played Overwatch over their beta testing weekend and didn't like that one either. HS is about all there is these days, other then that I rather enjoy my time here or playing on the Vanilla server I play on (sorry, not here to advertise, so I no, I won't tell you which one it is).

Sticking my hand in a mixer is currently more fun than WoD. Not surprising blizzard stopped releasing sub numbers.
