1. PvP dagger sub professions min max help

    hey

i have a few questions regarding min/maxing my char stats with professions.

this is mainly for pvp (all kinds, arena, bg and wPvP)
im not quite sure which spec i will be playing when i max out but i want to start planning now and take profs accordingly. ill prob go with daggers sub, so i was wondering what would the best choices be for me.
i was thinking of enchanting + engineering. mostly leaning towards this setup.
other options are JC, tailoring (for cape), and possibly inscription.

    tnx

  2. Tailoring + Engineering would be your best choice for professions. As for spec, it's gonna be Sub, yeah. You can start with Assa as Sub is quite demanding when it comes to gear, but the problem will be that the two specs require different gear (ArP vs AP), so it's your choice.

so basically, that cape thingie (http://wotlk.openwow.com/spell=55777) that randomly gives occasional attack power, is better than enchated rings, or jewelcrafter jewells? i thought rings was more constant boost, but im no expert anyways...

also i was hoping it would be enchanting, so i could earn some cash on the way while lvling, but i guess ill go tailoring then from the get go.

  4. Well, the cloak enchant procs really easy and once it's up your burst jumps up. That's why.

  5. It depends on what you intend to focus on. You best prof either way is JC and now your second one is either engi or tailoring. If you love bgs roll with engi, it's a huge help. Otherwise go with tailoring in case you intend to focus more on the arena side of things.

  6. Seeing as how your most important stat for sub should be Crit and then attack power, you would want to go with JCing for the increased crit gems.

Your second profession, if you could afford it would be Inscription. My opinion is the free buff, except amount of time invested from Skinning would be your go to 2nd profession.

Crit gems? The **** is going on here.

  8. wow guys, im confused now lol...
so we can cross enchanting off the list definately.
i would like to go eng cause i do alot of wpvp and i want to do bg + arena, and eng is fun.
since i havent had a rogue later then vanilla i dont know what gems im looking for, and i read somewhere that JC is not that good for rogue. also what do you mean by free buff with inscript?

Whatever you were reading, was wrong. JCing is #1 for rogues, it is however very expensive to level up, as well as ENG.
Most good Sub rogues will gem for Agility. There is a Crit Cap that you will want to hit, I think its somewhere around 32-37% for PvP, then after that you go for AP. I on the other hand in 3.3.5 Gemmed for Stamina + Key trinket from PvE badges. had somewhere in the neighborhood of 37000 HP unbuffed with still a 75% crit on my Ambush.

Its all a matter of preference, but if your playing Sub Correctly, then you will need to hit your crit cap, then follow it up with whatever stat you want. Armor pen is not valued highly for Sub as your damage will be Bleeds + ambush.
