WotLK PvP and queues - alliance VS horde on Icecrown (Deathwing + Ragnaros)

First off; I'm aware that there has been answers to parts of the following questions (or parts thereof) - please bear with me.

I am currently playing a horde toon on Ragnaros, almost exclusively PvP. What I experience here, is instant queues always, but in the last four days of playing, I have had 0 victories... The problem seem to be, that alliance is generally better geared, which I believe is a product of more serious PvP'ers among alliance players (human racial and whatnot).

Because of this, I have now rolled an alliance toon, which I've begun to level. However, dinging 80 to PvP on this toon would mean little, if I where to sit in 10 min.+ soloqueues for random BGs only to faceroll bad geared horde players - this is the state of both Deathwing and Ragnaros right now, as far as I can tell from other forum posts.

This leads me to my first question:
1) What are the current queue times as alliance on Deathwing and Ragnaros?

Now, I assume that most of you are aware of the coming Deathwing + Ragnaros => Icecrown server merge, and my hope is that this apparent ineven balance will be put to rest;
2) What do you think the queue time as alliance and horde will be on the new Icecrown server? Will the state of PvP remain the same or change?

As far as I can tell from the server merge forum post, staff has confirmed that there will not be free faction changes after the merge, which I believe would have been a great way to fix the PvP balance.

Man i rly see ppl still dont get basic logic.
If u have more alliance on bouth servers that doesnt mean que will get better....it will be again more allys....
