Technical Can't stop the update

So this happend to me yesterday,

I launched my wow.exe like I usually do, but this time when I logged in, it said "Downloading Update", I instantly closed the game because I knew that this could ****ed up my wow folders, but now I can't play because of this update ... So I decided to redownload the game, and.... It still launches the update.


Could someone explain to me how to prevent the update to pop after I log in ?

Thank god it worked, I can't possibly thank you enough ! I was so mad thinking I would not be able to play this week-end but thanks to you it now works !

I don't know how to close this topic but my problem if solved so if any moderator wants to close it, feel free to do it :)
