I took a year break only to come back and find all my heirlooms (which I bought with donations and vote points) are gone. I opened up a ticket and the GM said "There's nothing we can do" LOL. Uhm, sure there is, you can send me my items back. I'm sure the mods can check my transaction history and also check my account to see that I'm not lying. I nearly had full Tattered Dreadmist (missing shoulders I believe), even had the Headmaster's Charge and now they're all gone. I've checked all my characters, my bank on each character, everything. Am I really not going to get those items back when you have proof that I bought them in the past?

Apparently I can't get my donation/vote items back after they disappeared?

Items are not supposed to just disappear. They usually return lost items that were obtained with coins but there is no support for items obtained with points. But you have to make a support ticket on website not in game. You can check your accounts purchase history here to see which items were obtained for coins.
