Trading characters without coins

I just got a simple question. Is it possible to trade characters via the "character trading" without the use of coins?

Lets say i wanna trade my lvl 80 warrior for a lvl 80 paladin and find someone who wants to trade with me. Is it possible to get this done without "buying eachothers character"?
