1. Warlock or DK pvp 3.3.5?

Cant decide what to main. What is superior/pros and cons of each?

What build are good as well for each class?

  2. Gargoyle obviously. If you don“t want to be mocked though, try warlock :)

  3. Frost and unholy are the main dk builds. Never tried frost but unholy is a lot of fun and can crank out deeps. Unholy is pretty common because it's so easy to play.

My main is a lock and I swap between affliction and destro regularly. Affl has superior survivability and destro has quicker burst. Both equally viable.

Both are strong classes that are typically near the top of the BG in damage done when played right, and especially when accompanied by a healer. Just depends on your preference. Warlocks are far less common than death knights overall.

  4. while DK are fun to play with survival and Damage, I suggest trying warlock once if you are looking to understand mechanics of the game. Warlocks unlike DKs have less survival spells and are tougher to master. Therefore if you learn a class that is hard you have to understand most Burst and defensive mechanics of other classes.
Furthermore once you master a warlock they are very fun to play you can switch between affliction and destruction and even Demonology(somewhat more challenging in PvP) and have fun in arena or Batteground with it.

  5. Bump. Wanted a few more opinions on this one.

Also how does Frost fair compared to Unholy in PVP?

  6. Both are good for arena actually, bgs too. Basically Unholy dk is sort of a aflliction lock in plate armor and a weapon.
Do you wanna control demons or undead? :D
In 3.3.5 dks are strong, but lack burst in arena, so dont expect to global people.

Frost is superb for 2v2 arena. Unholy is most of time better choice in 3v3 though Frost is still solid in 3v3 also depending on comp (incredibly easy to global people sometimes)

This is mostly perspective towards arena.

    Do also consider the fact that it is much easier to gear up DK rather than warrior;

    DK needs only:
    - bryntroll / pvp weapon, Shadowmourne is nice but not necessary (most of unholy dks are unable to get top ranks whether they have it or not).
    - Death's Verdict trinkets (avaible from point shop)
    - Full pvp gear is fine, including offsets (high resilience is most necessary over pve gear)

Warrior needs full pve offsets to be competitive, also most likely Shadowmourne since it's good +20% damage boost easily, that's a lot of $$ (DK may play for top ranks with mere vote gear).

    [Gameplay]

IF you got full gear on warrior:
    - High pressure and burst
    - can shutdown any spell caster effectively
    - Fight fire with fire playstyle, you don't go defensive instead you can and should just smash people to stop them from trying to kill you
    - Can kill any healer solo very fast without much setup

    DK:
    - Defensive / turtle playstyle (if you want to win, I see lot of dks playing like warriors and they cant get much over 2k rating and keep losing to much lower teams)
    - Requires careful setup to kill healers (if they are good, otherwise just casting gargoyle is enough)
    - Unable to solo skilled healers, exception of disc priests
    - Massive amount of defensive cooldowns means you can be very careless against casters (not against melees though).
