Ghost flyingmounts?

I dont know if i remeber it the wrong way but didnt you have a flying mount as a ghost in stormpeaks and icecrown?
It would be far less annoying if after every time you die because of a bugged quest you could at least fly there instead of getting 10 minutes to wait with revival sickness...

just try to run in a new zone in the area where you are questing or close to mountains and you will get a mount there with a 99% chance

Exit subzone (Until the map only says Icecrown or Storm Peaks). The gryphon will spawn guaranteed.

It wasn't always like this, but Warmane staff messed up the scripting somehow in the past few months. This leads to frustration and stuck-in-the-cliffs situations. Unfortunately I can't find a generalized bug report regarding this. I'll post one now
