New to Server but not WoW

Hi all,

I'm new to the Lordaeron server. My goal is to main a healer class (shaman or priest), and I am currently starting off on Horde.

I'm really hoping to find a great group of people to level with and to progress through all of the raids that the server has to offer, rather than jumping over any.

Also, I enjoy casual PvP too and will probably eventually level a Lock or Mage for my next toon.

I'd love to meet some people to play with or even work to build a guild with some others since I'm currently jumping in solo, so feel free to contact me!

Ive played on this server for a short time now (and quite a long time previously when it was Molten-WoW). Its nice to see a new face around the forums. I also main a Shaman - however I am Enhancement on Icecrown server. If you ever find yourself roaming on that shard, let me know and I would love to run with you!

I was actually curious about Icecrown.
I've heard that it has more pvp than Lord, but what is the PVE like?
Having RDF seems beneficial for me since I'm more of a casual player.

Icecrown is a nice and fun server to play on but the thing is, for new players it's hard to find a decent raiding guild because of the high gearscore you require. When you join global chat you see people ask for 5.7k GS+ for ICC10n.. which is easily doable with 5k GS... the same applies for POS and FOS. most people ask for 4K GS players to join their group while it's easily doable with 3K GS characters.

Sounds like I dislike Icecrown but that's not true, I had some mad fun times on Icecrown.. currently leveling some characters on Lordaeron,

Horde IGN = Saltyweed (lvl 30 Prot warr)

Horde IGN = Saltyweed (lvl 80 Feral dudu)

won't be online for few more days tho.. there are some damn papers I have to finish in order for me to graduate ^^

In my experience of running under 5.7-5.8k runs in ICC is that ppl will leave more often after one wipe or dont make it far at all into the raid. However there are ppl that run alts run with gks around 5k to 5.3k gs which is easy to get if you spam hcs and farm some gold to get some gear. The first char you will level will take you a while to get to high gs, but after that your alts will be much easier to gear up. My third char i got in 3 days of casual playing up to 5k gs spamming hcs and VOA. The best way to get grp at 80 no matter the gs is to make the groups yourselfs cus most of the time noone will invite you anywhere with low gs.

Hi there. Id love to level with you. Im currently level 34 mage. I've leveled with a mate that i found through leveling but since he stopped i quit playing. If you're around my level you can quote me and ill hit you up :)
