1. Its getting a bit frustrating honestly

We already know that the game is completely unbalanced due to the extreme quantities of rogues which makes the game impossible to play it seems that is only one class available and people are too limited to play with anything else alright i get it, but im getting really sick and tired of this.. i already knew that horde was complete and utter **** and winning BG is like one in a million but please explain me this because a lot of people are getting tired of this crap people just have no respect for others to show in a BG like this https://postimg.org/image/573oiehn5/

instead of making minimum item level for dungeons or raids or whatever you should make a minimum item level before entering a BG like "350" anything below 350 isnt allowed to enter that would be way more balanced i get to play with guys like that in the pic above all the time it is impossible to win anything and i dont make arenas because im still learning to play mage

  2. 1) It's Cata. Nobody cares.
    2) No, there aren't even nearly as much rogues as you're saying.
    3) Even if there are, Cata is the rogue expansion. No, don't argue.
    4) It's PvP and it's battlegrounds. Nobody cares.
    5) He can do whatever the **** he wants, walking around naked or in white gear or whatever, as long as he's not AFK. As I said, it's PvP. When I would get frustrated with my team, I would just go to do fishing or cooking or something like that and there's nothing anyone can do about it. There's a reason I don't do PvP anymore.
    6) Warmane will not add an item level requirement for BGs, because that would be a custom feature. If you want something like that, talk to Blizzard.
    7) If I want to play naked, I will queue in my gear to pass your suggested "requirement", then unequip it when I join the BG. And there's nothing you can do.
    8) By the way, the vicious crafted set is 377ilvl, so this means the minimum requirement would be somewhere around 370. Judging by your stats, I wouldn't say you cover this yourself.

In conclusion - stop complaining and suck it up, because that's what battlegrounds are. If you don't like it, you can just stop doing them. Simple. If you're good enough, you should be able to get geared up easily in arena with just crafted gear. At least, that's what I did.

  3. Nice Keybinds... Click Blink?

  4. A great deal of people care about Cataclysm and PvP.

  5. A great deal of people? 1,6k out of 27,2 across warmane realms were active yesterday during peak time (15 ST) on Cataclysm, which is around 6%. And not all of them care about PvP. So, my guess is we are talking here about around 4% (of course not including those who left cata for one or another reason AND not including queue on Icecrown).

  6. Still, 1600 >>>>> Nobody. WotLK makes up a huge portion of that 27k figure, considering its their main expansion. Also I was addressing separate points in the response.

  7. Since OP flamed me in PM, I felt obliged to come back here :D

I'm gonna set some things straight - I played exclusively PvP through the entirety of TBC (big mistake, I know, but I was doing it for money) and I very actively PvPed from 3.0 till 3.2. I've probably done more Battlegrounds than most of the "PvP heroes" on this server, or even most people in general.

Battlegrounds suck. They are NOT about teamplay. They are NOT fun. Battlegrounds are nothing more than a place where you grind Honor in whatever way you can find (ninja bases as a rogue, lolstorm enemy teams as a warrior with a healer on your butt etc), so that you can get enough gear to move on to arenas. That's all, really. There is no teamplay in battlegrounds because you have random people with random gear (and even random realms, jeez) joining in and doing whatever the **** they want. Nobody, and I really mean nobody, can force anyone to follow objectives, cap bases or pretty much do anything in battlegrounds. If I want, I will stretch out a picnic table at the spawn point and start cooking and there's absolutely nothing anyone can do to stop me as long as I'm not AFK. If I want, I will get full crafted PvP gear prior to joining in order to be competitive. If I want, I'll get full PvE gear in order to nuke people. If I want, I'll run around the BG naked. If I want, I'll stack agility; if I want, I'll stack haste or mastery, or crit. No matter which of these I choose, there's nobody out there that can do anything about it... because that's how battlegrounds work. The only requirement for someone to join a battleground, apart from the level bracket, is them not being AFK.

You don't like it, felini2. I don't like it either. No one likes it. But there's nothing we can do about it, mate. As I said, there's a reason I stopped playing battlegrounds and am only occasionally doing arenas. If someone like that came in PvE, I'd just kick him without a second though. But you just can't do that in PvP. So, again, just stop complaining and accept it. You can't change it, so why sweat over it then?

I did battlegrounds all this weekend on Frostwolf, even though it gave me no gear I didn't have already. It was a lot of fun. I was in premade groups that followed directions and won the vast majority of the time so your critique doesn't apply to it.

I even had some fun in PUGs where I helped carry a team to victory. Sure there were some bad PUG experiences, but I tend to just leave those bgs and take deserter and do something else until it expires. But for the most part it was really fun.

Its like this in every game. The difference is the average IQ of the players. Most of the games are made for maximum income so they target as many potential players as they can get which means a huge amount of *****s. WoW and LoL are perfect examples, mistakes arent punished hard so the majority of the players dont care and keep failing. There are games where you lose exp/items/money when you fail which forces you to use your head. Make the battlegrounds double or nothing with 100 arena points/ 2000 honor points entrance tax and watch the decrease in quantity of the players and increase in the quality.

According to recent bans, that's incorrect. People got banned for not contributing to a Battleground by just fishing because they considered it "already lost."

Glad to hear stuff like this is finally happening.

  12. Get good, buy retail, stop playing on garbage realm.

    There's the keyword.

I'm not buying this, Obnoxious. I am actually going to go ahead and do some fishing myself in AB just to see if this happens. I've done fishing in Wintergrasp so far, mainly because I didn't want to do WG to begin with (I just wanted to farm materials there, then WG started), but also because my team was a bunch of ****ing ******s. If people get banned for giving up on a battleground and refusing to contribute, then people walking around naked or below 2.5k should also not be allowed. Why is one of these a bannable offense and the other is not?

Why should someone get banned, if he genuinely thinks the BG is lost and does not wish to participate? How is that worse than someone who is intentionally trolling for his own fun? I don't think we can win, I don't want to play this BG anymore, I give up - I should be banned? Why? inb4 "then just leave the BG" - yes, so now I'm the problem and I should leave, sure. If I join a BG where I'm actually the only decent geared player against a team of full Wfuls and donors, then of course I won't play; of course I won't give the enemy team the satisfaction of farming me, killing me 5v1 and teabagging me until the BG timer runs out; of course I will just sit besides the GY and wait for the BG to be over so I can get a new team.

I'll give you another example - when the enemy team dominates ours in WSG and farms us at the GY, what do you do? Do you continue respawning, trying to kill them, all the while just making them more and more zealous and inclined to farm you? If you do that, then you'll just get farmed into oblivion until the WSG timer runs out. They won't stop when you're worth no Honor. You know why? Because they don't do it for Honor. They do it because they can.

You know what I do in such cases? I step away from the GY so that I don't get auto-rezzed. Soon others follow me, then the enemy team finally gets bored and finishes the game. That's just how PvP works in this game and WoW has never been based on PvP, honestly, so I don't blame Blizzard for it, neither do I care anymore.

PvP in WoW is just sad and I do not consider anything apart from arenas proper PvP. Not duels, not battlegrounds, not outdoor PvP (ppl nowadays think that outdoor PvP is Thrallmar/Honor Hold farming - how pathetic is that?), not city raids (wow, 40 Wful players raid a city at 4 AM - this is such a fine example of PvP I cannot even begin to comprehend it). Please...

  14. I'm not buying this, Obnoxious.
I had to deal with someone complaining about being banned for that a few days ago. The first thread had all information edited out by the creator, and the second one was deleted, but this is an excerpt:

"I really do not apreciate what GM did on this one , you cant BAN a person for fishing in a BG that ends in 2 minutes. I joined half way , Alliace was loosing then i get whispers that *person X will get me banned. Why would a GAME MASTER just ban a player for this reason and how big of a favor can he owe to the guy who frapsed? because as easy as it is to ban , its the same to do .additem , why would you just listen one side of the story?Do you actually see that i dont NEED honour and i got everything possible to buy wit hoour and im always active 10 hours a day? Im so disapointed really... i would take a ban and shut up if atleast there would be a ban request on my name where i can defend myself or tell my story..Besides i cant find on any blizzard forums or here ANY rule about not fishing in BG, *Its castable water*.What is hapening? Why in 10 hours with a ticket online there is no body answering me and on forums you told me to write ingame. HOW if im accountbanned? Really...G G?Why you ban a honest good player for something so little when there are others botting/spamming/xploiting/yelling "hard to get N8575r"?I just cant understand ... some people would not take this well..QQ EFinQ . At the end of the day i didnt donate because i cant afford it atm , im nobody , still NOT fair.

Is this a propper reason? Your account has been suspended for 4 days due to Avoiding anti-afk kick mechanism in bg / not participating in bg . There was no 3rd party program , or any macro/botting at all , I was even chatting with them! only toold involved in this anti-afk mechanism is a fishing rod >.<"

So, whether you "buy" it or not is irrelevant to me. The ban reason the player got was "Avoiding anti-afk kick mechanism in bg / not participating in bg," which is clear enough. Of course, it depends on people reporting you, which most people apparently don't do because their neighbor's dog said doesn't gets anyone banned. If you want to argue about naked people in comparison to someone fishing, take that to the Head GM, though.

  15. I too do not participate when the BG is as good as lost when I join. Being a main rogue, I just walk around in stealth, looking for a lowbie to kill or just watching my team from afar getting raped and stomped by the enemy team, disregarding objectives just like my team has disregarded them before me joining. Should I get banned then? Am I worse than them? In my mind I'm nothing more than an unwilling participant in a lost cause who decided to instead turn into an observer since the outcome would be just the same.

I know that to you and the many lowbies and PvP heroes in BGs I may seem like the bad guy, but for myself I am "the odd one" in these cases. This is not what I signed up for, getting greenies in my team and/or people who do not follow objectives. I am not going to struggle and give my best effort to carry a team that doesn't give the slightest of ****s about winning, just "having fun". I don't think anyone can blame me on that. I've been blamed plenty of times already and that's what made me quit BGs. You can't blame someone for not being willing to carry your team. That's just extreme effrontery and arrogance.

My job is to be part of the team and participate in the BGs. The team does not do its job? Well, good - then I'm not part of the team anymore, go handle it. I am a kind of person that is very easy to drop from a team if its members think they can "do whatever they want". If they can do that, then so can I. You don't want to follow objectives? Good, then I won't follow them either and I'll just go fishing somewhere - the result from my fishing will be the same as your fighting in the middle of the map. Seems pretty fair to me.
