How would you gear sub as non-donatar?

Basically I haven't been to ICC yet, I have WG resi/on use trinket, furious gear and Wodin's Lucky Necklace.

Should I gem ARP or AP? Any thoughts on off-pieces?

I was rocking non donation gear till the server reset happend last year, there's no problem gearing up as a non donation char.

First of all, there's quite a few great main pieces you wanna include into your main set once you get to that point. Tier 10 shoulders or the crafted 264 leather pants are a great addition to your gear (obviously try to keep the 4 piece pvp bonus intact). I personally used tier 10 till I earned my wrathful shoulders, but mostly due to the fact that I was lacking hit on my gear overall so they covered that part. I would recommend them personally over any other main set piece, but you gotta work around that with not running too much hit outside of the ashen ring. Off piece wise it depends on your race, human gets a little more off set pvp pieces then other races would. But wodins is pretty much best in slot when it comes to non heroic items, the emblems of frost cloak is also simply amazing. For bracer, boots and belt simple stick with the pvp ones since they are pretty good.use the wrathful ring till you can obtain a better ring with some good agility and attack power on it. If you are human and need a 2nd trinket, go for the attack power battle master that trinket is simply amazing if you consider how easily obtainable it is. When it comes to vote points, safe them for trinkets, sts first followed by dbw. Dagger wise just stick with wrathful, but if you can obtain a heartpierce (the energy procc dagger from ICC) I would recommend that one. But heartpierce is my personal choice, I just prefer it over the wrathful one.

Gemming wise stick to attack power, arp is incredibly crappy to gem for if you aren't using amazing gear.
