hi, i'm actually new on the server , downloaded the wotlk 3.3.5a from the page torrent and , while logging in , the game wanted me to restart it so i can download a patch , which is the 3.3.x to 4.0.0 , but i want to play wotlk. Should i let the patch run?

No. You probably entered an email as login name. Instead of that, you should use the plain account name you've entered upon registration.
