U have to kill the eye above the shadow vault and i did it atleast 7+ times..... and i restarted mygame, deleted cache, abandon/retake quest. What the fk?? its a core quest that without u cant get acces to the ebon blade quartermaster.

How about the previous way? That way which you need to attack with your own attack or skills before you use that eyesore blaster.

Problem is if someone else who is not in your party will do at least 1 hit - no one will get it. What we 5 people did is wait when horde finish and anyone else not in our party.

It's definitely frustrating trying to get this quest done! Try landing on one of the teeny-tiny platforms by The Ocular and hit it with a Ranged Weapon. That's what I had to do to get kill credit for this thing - it even worked for the guy in my party who was stuck for a while, too! Side note: When you do land, ensure that you are in LoS of the thing (facing), as any movement or jumping will cause you to fall off of that little pillar. After you tag it with your abilities, you should be able to laser beam the thing down. I assume that Priests/Mages would have an easier time with this, however I do not know if the quest item works while "falling." Oh, and for some reason melee pets are able to reach him from these little pillars as well >_>. I found the NE pillar to be the easiest to land on.

Another fun plus: That priest that randomly threw a Devouring Plague on you and Levitated away on is in for the surprise of his life when abilities start flying from that eyeball that you're almost invisible inside of :).
