Farming Chaos Orbs

Did anyone manage to drop one? I've been happy to see that lvl 85 heroic deadmines was somewhat scripted, but quickly let down at the Foe Reaper :(
If you managed to drop a chaos orb, mind sharing where you got it from? I know it's old content, but I'd love to have that pink scythe for xmogging ^-^

First, it only drops from the last boss, which is Vanessa VanCleef, and with a 90% Drop chance, it's not a guaranteed drop.

Yes - I'm aware. That's why I was frustrated when I couldn't manage to get past the Foe Reaper.

How do you get past the Foe Reaper / his room? There's an invisible mob or something in there that three-hits me.

yes, it is a bug. It is an "invisible" fire that should NOT be there in that moment ( it should be there only afterward).
But it is not hard, just find a place where you are not attacked by this "invisible" fire and stay there, do not move and aggro mobs and boss with same ranged attack.

If you have any friend who can help you with an healer class it would be even better

Thanks. Made it all the way to Vanessa just to have her not spawn. Bummed. Not worth the countless deaths :/

Went in again just to check. Didn't see the letter previously, but it worked now and I even dropped an orb. Thanks a lot everyone.
