What type of toon to make on Lordaeron ?

Hey all,

Knowing next to nothing about WoW, I am selecting to play on Lordaeron because of the high population. Hopefully it'll be awesome.

Should I play Horde or Alliance and of what class? And why?

Alliance is more pvp and EU based.
Horde is more pve and NA based.

If you are new, i suggest playing a dps class at first because nobody likes a clueless healer/tank. Most classes can respec into another role as well. All the classes are fun and powerful in their own way.

I think the most important advice i can give is to join leveling/social guilds asap until you find an active one you enjoy conversations in. This will help you to find groups easier and eventually find raids. I think youll have fun!
