WotLK Retri trinkets from point?

Good day. I have just started a retribution Paladin on Icecrown, and I am wondering which should I get from the points shop: Tiny Abomination in a Jar, or Death's Choice? I'm a bit confused since Taiaj is the better item in Lynea's guide's list, but DC is 7 points cheaper (meaning I can get other items faster later on), so I think I'm going to go for whichever is harder to get.

Hmm.. if it were me personally, I would get Tiny Abomination in a Jar. The reasons for this would be:-
1) Tiny Abomination in a Jar, even the normal version is vastly superior to any other trinkets in the game, including either Sharpened Twilight Scale HC or Death's Choice HC.
2) It drops from Professor Putricide, which is still harder for most smaller guilds to kill and bordering on impossible for the average PUG. On the other hand, if ToC works as it is supposed to, than Death's Choice is an easier trinket to get. I haven't played for some time and have heard that ToC doesn't work properly, with Faction Champions being either too hard or just plain impossible? I don't know. However there are two very quick and easy alternatives for your second trinket after Tiny Abomination in a Jar, those being Whispering Fanged Skull Normal/Heroic and Darkmooon Card : Greatness. At least the normal version of WFS should be easy to get as it drops from just the second boss of ICC 10 Normal. Whether the HC version of it is easier to get than TAiaJ is arguable, but even the normal version of WFS is pretty close to DC and a good alternative. DMC : Greatness, while trailing a bit far is still a solid alternative. Another trinket that could be of interest is Herkuml War Token, but given your current gear, your EoFs are better invested in Tier pieces.

So my recommendation would be to get Tiny Abomination in a Jar, and wait for a lucky drop in normal 10 man ICC for Whispering Fanged Skull. Another thing to note here is that since Professor Putricide HC is a nightmare for anything less than the top guilds, you won't be replacing your Normal Tiny Abom for a pretty long time, while you would have a better chance of getting Whispering Fanged Skull heroic later, which is a bit superior to Death's Choice Normal.

If you have more than 700 agility self buffed as a retri paladin then I would recommend going for TaJ+DV. In the case you have way less than that (aka more plate items equipped) I would recommend you to go for Taj+WFS.
