I get extremely low fps when the battle starts on both rounds regardless of settings. I opened a ticket and the reply I got was that it was a client-side issue, well i get that tickets are a dime-a-dozen but if this person didn't want to try they should have moved on and left the ticket for someone else or just admitted there's a problem on their end and they can't do anything about it.
On 2 of my 3 characters I've played at end-game, this issue has persisted. I even tried renaming the one I main now to the one that didn't have the bug but that didn't fix it. On the third character absolutely zero issues in strand whatsoever. Strange, right?
Among the things I've tried:
-Disabling all add-ons
-Using the old and new client
-Using 2 entirely different pc's and 3 different graphics adapters (gt 240, hd4600, and gtx 960)
-Fiddling with all the settings I could think of inside the options and out of the game via nvidia control panel, windows power options, i/o priorities etc.
Nothing has so much as slightly influenced it. I am led to believe this is a server side issue that influences only particular characters for reasons indeterminate. Is it the appearance combinations? Achievements? /played time? It's completely unknown.
but I challenge any staff member to log onto my 80 paladin on Icecrown and get into a strand battle, I can all but promise the bug will be there. I don't know of any other way to confirm this bug since your test server chars may or may not have whatever condition is triggering this issue.
My priest has it way worse, where i go down to 20-30 fps on my paladin, my priest on the Trade right now managed to crank out 4-6 frames per minute. The game literally hangs for 10-15 seconds inbetween each frame.
So yeah, I would like to know if there's some fix I'm missing or at least have Warmane acknowledge this issue... as much as I would like to be able to do more than bash my head against the wall in frustration when I get strand (which happens way too often btw but that's an issue for another topic), i could live with it if I at least knew the Warmane team was AWARE of the issue, if it is indeed on their end and everything points to that being the case.
But its obviously a client-side issue as other player dont have your issues. You even claim these issues only affect selected characters and other characters you own have no issues. Client side is your problem. Warmane has no home service. They even did their best in telling you its your responsibility to solve it. I know addons can mess up a character but ofcourse noone can provide you a "one click sollution". You need to debug your character settings and internal files. You are the only one that can do this locally. Noone can help you in that from far away.
