Haunted Herring Recipe

Ok, just a quick question.. Does the recipe Haunted herring drop in northrend dungeons or from mobs?

Both but not from any mob. Wowhead lists 200 mobs that drop it so you should just play your normal adventure and eventually it will be yours.

I heard there's a higher chance to drop in dungeons than open world, but both should drop fine

Thanks for the reply. I just got word from several other players that this recipe has not dropped since the new core. However I am not sure if this a fact or just a wide opinion. I've seen people with this recipe but looted before the new core.
