Could there be a separate LFM channel from global for LFG/LFM. Since the server population is so huge there is no change to ask general questions or just chat in the global channel. If there were 2 separate channels for general talk and LFM it would allow Global to become relevant again for general talk involving quests or any other game related questions or just chat, the last time I saw global being way was on old lorda and deathwing on quiet hours.

No, it wouldn't. People who want to advertise stuff, like looking for a group, want visibility. Creating more channels would just mean people spamming in Global plus whatever other channel was created, since they still would want the visibility of Global. We wouldn't have GMs monitoring Global to make sure people weren't using it for "LFG" messages for obvious reasons, so suggesting that is moot.
