Easy way up without jumping across the rocks run to the back of the water area behind the stone statue looking thing and at the wall there is a spot you can walk up onto and then just walk around the top of the wall to the pool of reflections and finish the quest !!!!!!!!

The guy who calls himself: Sensei, told us this 2 months ago, in addition to an alternative route to pass those stepping stones.
