elementium-plated exhaust pipe - and other rare farmables

with the decision to cut player gold by half on january 1st, i think it would be wise to look at how some people are able to amass such huge banks.

i've been trying to buy the elementium-plated exhaust pipe for a couple of months, now. i've never seen it. i'm not part of the pvp crowd that camps there, and it's those players that are able to sell it on the marketplace for 20,000g when it's a 1500g item (i think, but i've never seen it, so i don't know for sure).

i also need an adamantite rod for my enchanter, however it's 800g on the AH, and the plans for it only seem to spawn when the server crashes, at which time there is a crowd around the vendor.

these are only a couple of examples, but if you increase spawn rates on these and other rare items, the economy will balance out better.

You need to be an engineer AND have the recipe to be able to buy them in the first place. That or you can salvage bosses like Flame Leviathan.

And yeah, the price should be around that. 20k gold for a pipe is a total scam. The mount item itself wasn't sold that much unless you're in Icecrown server probably
