1. [HELP] Files To Be Copied?

So I purchased a 32 GB USB with 29.4 GB allowance (rest is used for usb data/3.6 gb). Need specific files that are useful for Dungeons/Raids to be copied first, going to copy from my cousin.

  2. you could play on minimal client so it downloads while you play, usualy you never get whole game downloaded specialy if you only want to raid like me,my wow is only 7gigabytes :D

  3. you could play on minimal client so it downloads while you play, usualy you never get whole game downloaded specialy if you only want to raid like me,my wow is only 7gigabytes :D

I am playing at minimal atm but it doesn't work that way,I already have 21.6 gb of the files and it still loads models from the NPCs and players, dungeons, raids, and arenas. Takes a loooong time too.

  4. it downloads while you play, usualy you never get whole game downloaded
I am by NO means at all a CATA, MOP minimal clients expert, but according to my experience in WoD in retail, THAT IS NOT HOW MINIMAL CLIENT WORKS.

As far as I know, minimal client is for impatient people who can't wait for the whole game to be downloaded. So Blizzard came up with an idea of minimal client with WoW launcher (current base of Blizzard application). Basically you downloaded just the basic Data files so you can barely run the game. While you are playing, the game will be downloaded to your WoW directory. I am not sure if there is a way to not have this download initiated at all, either.

    Back to the OP.

It depends on what expansion you are. If you are post Cataclysm, there is a thing called "minimal client" as I've talked about before. Your game will absolutely look like minecraft with bunch of clays moving around, but it works. If you are WotLK, you can't just "copy few files" and be done. You need to have the launcher, scripts that links the launcher to the MPQ (data files), DATA FILES.

Just go home and download everything through torrent. It doesn't take terribly long.

  5. Just read OP's reply..

NO S**T THEY ARE BEING LOADED. THEY ARE MEANT TO BE THERE.

If they are loading up too slowly, upgrade your hard-drive.
