Headless Horseman

Does he loots something or he is just there for the quest? And what about Loot-Filled Pumpkin can you obtain this since dungeon finder is disabled? I went to scarlet monastery and killed horseman but i didnt get any loot. Should i try to get mount by opening these candies near inkeepers?

Sometimes he drops something,sometimes he doesn't... You can't get the mount from inns,only a pet.
