I've been wondering if the devs have thought about implementing a sort of "Refund" in a sense, hear me out.

What if there was an option to delete all of your characters across all realms, and have the coins refunded that were spent across the toons, as a result?

Or something similar, I am only suggesting fully deleting everything as a sort of "punishment" for wanting to cash out and start over again "BISing" new toons.

People wouldn't be getting anything more than they have already gave, other than the chance to play other toons without having to start over?

The other thing I have greatly taken into account was the abuse possibility of this, and how it "might" lower revenue. Well, first off it should cost the most on the market than we've ever seen. Second, it should ONLY be available to players that have:

Played 2+ years
Have "Supporter" or higher donor rank
Only be able to do it Once a year as well.

So once a year, someone that has donated a fair amount and is a seasoned player could wipe all of their toons, collect the coins spent across said toons and reroll and continue playing. Not lose interest, not have a bunch of toons that will never sell because "Warmane". etc

Something similar to this is the Expansion transfers, which doesn't really help people on MoP at all. Especially ones with hundreds of dollars worth of items on a realm that is going to die, and full of only elitist BIS geared pricks. Go look at any starter area in MoP compared to WOTLK. If MOP shuts down and this idea or one similar isn't in place at least refund the coins from that realm when it happens.
