So, i'm gonna keep this short and sweet. From what i've seen most guilds on this server don't bother with Ulduar since it's not worth it for 'em gear wise. However i'm gonna make this thread to try and recruit a 10 man group for Herald of the titans run. Instead of running the place with randoms all the time i'm gonna post a recruitment thread over here with detailed instructions on gear requirements and other stuff.
Gear-
The requirements for a Herald of the titans run would be having your gear not be higher than 226 ilvl, and weapons not higher than 232. The places that drop adequate gear are Toc 5n/hc, Pos, Fos, and Hor N, Voa 10/25 ( Archavon and Emalon the Storm watcher only), Ulduar 10 and 25.
As far as weapons go, you can use the weapons from Pos, Fos, Hor HC and even Toc 10 N weapons because they are at ilvl 232.
You can also buy gear from the Emblem of Conquest quartermaster in Dalaran which includes the Ulduar 25 chest and head and some other stuff, as well as the bracers/cloak from the Emblem of Valor quartermaster in Dalaran.
You can also craft the boots/belt your class uses with Leatherworking/Tailoring/Blacksmithing as long as you can find a person with the professions and recipes required.
As far as gems, enchants and flasks/potions go you can use the most powerful ones, no need to downgrade by using the lower ones.
All of the gear needed for Herald is also available in the store, so you can use vote points as well.

I'll use them to MT, so i'm currently recruiting an OT, 2 healers and dps/rdps. Casters would be preferred, and one shaman required.

One of you probably didn't meet the requirements, since i have it on good authority the achievement works. The gear is finicky to get,and having even one person with one item over the limit will screw up the achievement.

we checked everyone we had correct gear on ,we used addon tho ,but no luck, got it for group 1 but group2,no luck yet, well we kinda not trying anymore

Also killed the boss 2 times without getting the achievement.
After Boss died, we all had combat bug, so we checked all ppl in raid, everyone was fine; not even shirts or tabard *cause these 2 can affect the achievement*.
Anyway, count me in. In game name: Gluth (Ret 4.8 if I remember well) Top dps always in herald gear.
