Technical Merging characters

Hello.

I've managed to merge my two accounts, but now I can't transfer my character from my old account to my new account. I've never used this feature before and this is the first time that I'm doing this. So, did someone done this in the past? Is the tool not working? I want to transfer my only character from one account to another using the merge tool. If someone knows how this works, please help me or provide me a link with instructions, thanks in advance.

Instructions are on merge page:

Players are now able to link an account and transfer any remaining characters above the 10 character limit to a fresh account.

That feature only allows you to transfer characters that did not fit in 1 account after realms merged. You can not transfer your only character on an account to another account. To do that you would have to put it on character trading and buy it yourself from the other account.

Thanks. I was thinking about buying the character for myself, but also thought why not try this merge feature first. Thanks again.
