Technical "Unable to Connect" to WoLK for months! whats the deal?

So for months I've been trying to logon and play again to no avail. Everytime I try and logon using wow.exe and with correct credentials it gives me an error saying "Unable to Connect. Please Try again later. If the problem persists please contact customer support." Does anyone have any ideas to what I can do to make my wrath work again? I do have the new version with new character models downloaded...worked for a couple months then started getting the error everytime I try and logon =(
