WotLK Does the warlock still valuable in wotlk?

I know thats a dumb question and its problaly will be deleted, but i saw that there is not a lot of warlocks in icecrow server. Why? do they suck in pvp or pve or them just not everyone likes? Btw i`m noob and i dont have warlock, but i want it and while leveling i start to worry that warlock is not the great choise. i`ll be very thankful if you explain to me.

Not so long ago, I asked the same question here on forum, even tho I play a Warlock, and it was always my main. The simple answer would be that the class is not rewarding like the others. In order to play it full time, you must love the class, and most of the fellow Warlocks I meet who play the class for a long time are like that. In PvE Demo brings great utility, and it will be no problem to have a raid spot with this spec. If you already have a guild that knows you are a good player, you don't have to play Demo to secure the raid stop. You still have 3 more specs (Yes, 3!). Affliction, Destruction and Hybrid. You will most likely never be that guy who tops the DPS, but you will not be the worst. That's the thing. We are kinda average. If you, however, are not rolling this class to top DPS, then you will have fun with it. For example, Affliction is consider to be one of the hardest specs to play in PvE, and for me, that is nice. You are not spamming 1,2,3 all the time, there is so many things to look for, and this makes the spec really fun, and I haven't got bored of it till this day.

Now, lets get to PvP. When you first start to play it in PvP, you might feel like the class really sucks. If you continue to improve yourself you then realize that this class is made for PvP. Seriously, wanna play arena? You fit in so many comps. I even played 2x Destro to 2K with my friend.
Wanna do some BG's and there is no healer to carry you? No problem, you are not Arms Warr. Go Affli, and be that sneaky bastard who dot's everything while getting so many heals from Siphon Life. You enjoy fast gameplay and big numbers? Hello Destruction. O boy those Chaos Bolt and Conflagrate crits.
You can be a group player, o go for some solo 1v1/1v2 action, it doesn't matter. You will enjoy it.

So, if you are ready to invest time and you really think you will love the class, then welcome!

And yes, for more info about PvP, I would suggest you to go play some arena/duels on Blackrock, since it's instant lvl 80+Relentless gear. You can test the class at least. But go Destro, it's kinda easier for beginners.

Warlocks are one of the best PVP classes in WotLK with huge potential, both as Destro and Affliction. I guess peple don't play it because ti requires a higher skill cap than other DPS classes or because of pet management, can't tell you 100%.

If you want to see Warlock PVP I suggest you going to my stream channel https://www.twitch.tv/darkml and watch videos so you'll do better in arenas.
