Technical Warcraft client wont even launch.

Hi.

I just downloaded the client and I am trying to get into the game however the game wont launch. I run Wow.exe directly but it wont start, it just loads in up into the task manager and doesn't do anything since:



its been stuck like this for about half an hour.

I tried:

• Disabling Firewall and AntiVirus
• Compatbility mode to Windows 7, Windows XP SP3 and Windows XP SP2
• Deleting WTF folder (although it was empty from the start, and relaunching just creates the folder but no content inside it, if I recall correctly it should create the config file with all the default settings)
• Running as Admin.

I am using Windows 8 and the new Wotlk client.
