Hello, I'd like to share my experience from half an hour ago, it was just too funny not to share. It will in no way benefit your knowledge of the game, but if you're bored and just going through the forum, enjoy my story.
I was minding my own business in swamp of sorrows, killing some whelps, and while waiting for their respawn, I decided to watch some videos on youtube,
but when I switched back, I was dead with 4 hordes next to me. I released, brought myself back to life, and consumed a tasty portion of nom-nom to restore my health. I was a little butthurt over dying like that, so seeing a shaman from their group, I decided to chase him down (took a while, he ran with full dedication), killing him. After he died, I got attacked by other 3 members, and I ended up killing 2 of them, but the 3rd guy tactically retreated.
Here's a little photographic documentary of the aftermath: http://puu.sh/tv6eX/6e5d8f117c.jpg
Starring: Murzgath the unfortunate shaman, Anfal the axe-wielding tauren, Fikibok the brave shieldmaiden who managed to live the longest, and Ryladen the cowardly orc who vanished mid-fight, at the first sign of trouble, leaving his companions in arms to perish.
If you guys are reading this, thanks for the fight, and no hard feelings.
I don't want to sound rude, but what part of this story is so funny that it needed to be posted? All I see is a near BiS faceroller killing crappy pve geared people after they killed you while you were afk. Those people had it coming for sure, but this is not really a funny story or anything special.

You do sound rude (and bitter). It is funny to some of us. Your comment/opinion is nothing special and yet you felt the need to post it...

Of course my comment is nothing special mate I'm just expressing my opinion that is all, same as you are doing right now.
Also the argument about me feeling the need to comment is also applicable on your reply on mine, so If it was intended as a way to put me in my place, it kinda failed. Of course it is again applicable on this reply, no need to point that out.
Idk why I would sound bitter though, but sure I'll take it if that is the case. I guess I can't see the fun in a story that revolves around a pugstomper stomping pugs, it's like saying I just killed 3 critters in Durotar and one ran away.
I don't want to hurt the mans feelings on purpose it's just my opinion on the matter, this is a forum not a 'safe space', everyone can post what they feel and everyone can comment on that with what they feel, as long as it falls within the rules.
You sure? You're correct if you are talking about Lord of the Rings for example...
In WoW, things are messed up, even with simple NPCs (for example, those black orcs in Redridge Mountains).
Most orcs would indeed uphold honor above all and would rather face glorious battle and die honorably ("Lok'tar Ogar" being "Victory or death").
That doesn't mean there's no exception though. Gul'dan is anything but honorable, for example.
Regarding NPC running away in the middle of the fight, not sure about that. It could be an oversight, or you can argue that they're making a tactical retreat. Orcs may be hunchbacked and all but they're not *****s.
