Standard 2v2, one player dies, their partner leaves. The winning team does not get conquest. Is this a bug or is this to prevent wintrading?

This was solved with a relog. Found the correct bugtracker and upvoted. It is still a known issue and I am still not sure if it is a bug or not.
It is an old bug, and a lot of mental people does this on purpose just to you know feel at least somewhat good when they lose, even though that does not makes sense, you just extend the wining team to join again and beat you again.
