1. What made you quit retail servers?

The last expansion I had ever played on retail was Warlords of Draenor. Cross Realm Zones was a huge contributor in me quitting considering it did more harm than good for the game. Thankfully no private server (especially Warmane) has CRZ. Also, nobody did Stormwind or Orgrimmar raids anymore in retail.

So what was the straw that broke the camel's back for the rest of you?

  2. Because Warmane is better than retail. :D

  3. I got bored of grinding quests

  4. I hated the fact it became almost like Farmville

  5. The game just doesn't feel fun anymore, and I don't have a rational explanation as to why is it so. I played Legion for 3 months and just got so bored I couldn't play anymore so I returned here and I'm having fun.

  6. Transmog. I did everything I could without seeing other people who use transmog, so for now I am thinking either of focusing on HotS or moving back to Wrath. Hopefully Warmane has or will implement shortly the option to not see transmogs of other people.

Really? Thats a rather pathetic reason to quit.. just because someone wants to wear armour that matches, fits their personality, fits some form of RP/Lore, allows freedom of creativity. Why do you care so much about what other people look like? What effect does it have to directly cause interruption to your gameplay? "OMG I cant play the tank looks too fabulous and its distracting me with their pixels!"

    Anyway..
I quit when cata came out, I didnt like the changes. I quit wow full stop till 2012 when I had a summer off of uni and I needed something to do for free since I dont get finance during summer and I couldn't go home. So I joined Molten and played on Cata where i stayed till half way though MOP retail and rejoined retail once I had money. I quit MOP late half of MOP just after WOD-Prepatch cos Molten released the MOP PTR and I got bored of farming SOO and the expansion had been out of over 18 months by then and was stale. Came back to Molten, transfered from Sarg to Frostwolf spent a year playing on Frostwolf cata (then Stormstout MOP) till Moltdown happened.
Quit retail 2 months after Legion came out, cos Legion isnt that great of an expansion. But I returned, cos Nelth is dead here and I dont want to play Wrath or MOP.

  8. The class design, both the ability prune and them dumbing down the abilities they didn't prune. Gave it til about halfway through WoD then decided I'd see what private servers had to offer. Never regretted that decision.

I want in Legion to see people wearing Legion items. Just as people wearing transmogged items want to see themselves in those sets. My wish is just as viable as any and all of theirs.

You do understand that Blizzards art department stopped caring about making items look good post Cata and thats a reason transmog was in the game?
Check out every tier set from T14 to T20. Look at how much effort blizzard didnt put into them.

Now go to Dalaran fine me ONE person who hasn't transmogged their gear. out of the thousands you will find in dalaran there is maybe 1-2, and thats most likely down to them still levelling and not really caring since they continuously get better and better gear so its not worth the time.

I just ran around my DK class hall, just to get a small sample size for you. out of 50 people in my connected realm server phase I found ONE player without a transmog. And guess what? It's cos he was still gearing, half his items were blue or worse.
Have you seen how ugly Legion gear is?
    Let me show you.
    Spoiler: Show

Now I respect everyone opinions, as long as there is logic behind them... You quitting a game because of something which has been active in the game for 4 expansions is just the height of stupidity. IT ISN'T WRATH ANYMORE, BLIZZARD STOPPED PUTTING EFFORT INTO THEIR ITEM LOOKS!

  11. @Kemii I respect your opinion, but disagree with it. I still dislike transmog. Therefore i returned to an expansion which wasnt supposed to have transmog.
Was in raid during this reply, so checked only t17-t19 and liked them almost for every class.

Then YOU dont wear it.... I already explain to you it has NO ****ING CHANGE ON YOUR GAMEPLAY! NONE!

I'd see the point if it did affect your gameplay, but it doesn't at all. It doesn't make you anything but look ****ing fabulous. Answer me, why do you CARE about what other people look like?
