Can we get this limit increased or fixed for addons like carbonite that doesn't actually "speak" or say anything it communicates with other carbonite addon users invisibly and locks us out of chat for no reason

edit also does it with addons that announce that you are sapped/blinded etc in bgs

It does actually speak. It uses a regular chat channel and sends messages there. It just doesn't show you those messages. Most addons use addon messages not regular chat messages to communicate but those can only be sent as whispers or to raid group or guild, not to whole zone. So Carbonite sends regular chat messages not addon messages.

Those also send regular chat messages, just like you would. There is no way to exclude messages sent by addons. The only solution would be changing the limit for everything.
