I just got off the wandering isle, made it into orgrimmar and it seems no one is even around, /who is only showing about 50 people but none of them are really up to anything and seem to just be sitting in towns. I must say that I must applaud you guys on making the starting function almost bug free.
Anyway, I really have hopes for this server, the starting zone being mostly functional (I only ran into a few minor bugs) gave me faith that this server could be the one for me.
What realm are you actually talking about? There are five diffrent realms to choose from on Warmane, with a very diffrent population.
Some realms only got about 600 online, but if we look at Icecrown, there is 12 000 online. Both Icecrown and the lower populated realms are only showing 50 at a time while using /who.
If you are looking for how many that are online on each realm, you can find it on the homepage of warmane, or you can look here: https://www.warmane.com/information
I'm guessing you meant Frostwolf, the MOP server. That server is in the middle in terms of pop with peak times having around 1500 players. The wrath realms are by far the most populated with 12k on Icecrown and 5-6k on Lord at peak times. I am going to guess their TBC server will likewise have fairly high pop rates when it launches. The Cata server is a little lower than the MOP server, and the other ones are just pvp servers with very low populations
