Burning Crusade PTR Melee range and hitboxes

Hello, i've been playing in TBC PTR for 2 days and i've found out that hitboxes are not working as it was in retail.

Im tauren druid and ppl is able to hit me from further than normal.

I've tested with a friend, melees of any race seem to be able to hit from further than regular range, if im tauren, they can hit me even from further.

Also tauren warrior seems to be able to hit from more distance.

We've found out that in Blade's edge arena, as tauren, we can take the EYE from the lower floor just by jumping anywhere arround the pilar where it spawns.

Is this already reported and its being reworked ? Im just wondering because it's really weird.

I dont mean to break the rules or anything by posting this, i opened a bugtracker ticket yesterday but it has dissapeard now.

Maybe it's that we dont remember correctly how melee range worked, but we also tried undead rogue attacking a troll and the distance rogue reached also felt bigger than usual.

Your report was not deleted, it was dismissed. You can still find it if you search for it. The melee range for taurens is supposed to be this big in TBC, it wasn't fixed until the first Wotlk patch. Being able to activate the Eye from below is a bug however and will be dealt with.

Hi Bigpwn, did you implement this "large hitbox" for both Female and Male tauren or only Male Tauren?
