Resilence effect dots and mana drain

If I recall correctly, when TBC launched resilience did not effect mana drains and damage over time effects. I believe it was changed late season 2 or early season 3, so i'm wondering if this will be the case here? I just saw the tooltip in game and it does indeed say that both are effected by it.

Did some digging and found this:

"(25-Mar-2008): Now reduces the magnitude of mana draining effects by the same amount that it reduces critical strike damage. The Tooltip has been revised to reflect this"

Also found that it wasn't until patch 2.2.0 that resilience affected dots and that patch went live on September 25th, 2007.
