thinking of rolling on outland

hey, im playing lordaeron here, but i wanted to get some tbc action so i would choose outland. i see that factions have balanced a bit, but are the alliance bonuses still active (free mounts, and whatever they were)?

also i intend to mainly pvp, and almost do no raids, and since i havent played a lock yet, and i know locks were good back in tbc for pvp, i was just interested if they are pve gear dependant like some other classes?

Locks are absolutely not PvE gear dependent. Its the exact opposite. SL/SL needs resilience to really shine, but once they get some...watch out! They become SO tanky.

Also, if you plan on PvPing, I would highly recommend rolling a horde toon. If not, you will be sorely disappointed with anything other than AV at 70 as alliance.

how come? you saying all alliance is **** for pvp? i mean the grass is always greener on the other side.

btw im not biased towards any sides, i usually dont like jumping on the op side, which in tbc was clearly horde, but tbh i was kinda leaning towards alliance since they get some free stuff, and im really not in the mood for farming, leveling and pveing at all this time...
