Technical Getting logon errors - Wotlk Client

So my post about this I made an hour ago was removed by a mod presumably so I'll keep this quick and punchy

Whenever I try to connect it says connecting for at least 30 seconds then I get either "Unable to connect, please try again later" or "Login Server Down". Now i may be wrong but im assuming the servers are up and everythings good for everyone else beause the forums are quiet and the warmane info says all realms are active with players currently streaming etc.

I've set my realm list to "set realmlist logon.warmane.com" and turned my firewall off but still no change and any help is appreciated guys

Try to turn off your anti-virus for a moment if you have one. Also you can do the basic moves, like clearing cache folder and see how your wow reacts on it.

Thanks for the reply! I don't have an antivirus currently installed and I assume that by "cache folder" you mean the one in the WOW.exe directory? In which case i deleted it and tried to login but the same error occured. I got the cache folder back and all of its contents though.

For other players I see that re-downloading config.wtf file works out, perhaps you can try to do it aswell and see what happens?

Ok, so I tried that as well as a few other possible solutions but they're all no luck. I did however just find out that not only can't I connect to warmane but i cant connect to any other server when through changing the realmlist etc as you would. I figure its an issue on my end, possibly with the router or something so ill see what i can do. Thanks for the reply again

If you have a dynamically assigned IP address, i.e., it changes every time you disconnect and reconnect the modem from the ISP, then try turning off your modem, waiting two minutes, then turn it on again. It should get another IP address assigned to it when it reconnects. And might solve your issue.

WoooooHoooo it's fixed! Ok, so the issue was my Wifi cause I couldn't connect to any server so what I did is I Power Cycled my modem/router and Shazam! Thanks for the help Justmarried!! :)
